The 2000 Training and Performance Sourcebook is the fifth annual edition of a yearly sourcebook filled with experiential learning exercises, questionnaires, job aids, and "how-to" articles. Each tool can be easily removed and photocopied for distribution to participants! The 2000 Sourcebook will contain approximately 40 tools to develop human resources. These kinds of tools will include: a training activity (a game, exercise, or learning task that develops knowledge, attitudes, or skills); an assessment instrument (evaluative tool intended to build awareness, provide feedback about a specific situation and promote individual or group reflection); a helpful handout (succinct description of practical tips that help when developing individuals, teams, or organizations); ("how to" article containing useful ideas and guidelines for implementing an idea or initiative). All of the resources in the sourcebook have a direct practical application to the daily work of trainers, consultants, and Human Resources Development (HRD) professionals. Topics may include: Alternative to Classroom Training, Career Development, Communication Skills, Computer Training, Diversity and Cross-Cultural Awareness, Issues in the Workplace, Learning and Training Techniques, Management Development, Personal Effectiveness, Sales, Training Design.
