Designing with water is surely one of the most interesting aspects in architecture and landscape architecture. This fascinating element can be used in a multitude of different ways, constantly creating new images and new effects especially when it is combined with light. The projects which are presented in this volume illustrate how delightful designs with and by water can be. whether it is the Promenade on the Guadalquivir river or Christians-harbour in Copenhagen, a park in Sabadell, or the Square of Human Rights in Evry, the town of Barcelona or Portuguese Lagos, these projects show how versatile and attractive water as a design element is.
